Since its inception in 2001, the Brian Olson Memorial Golf Classic has donated more than $330,000 to St. Luke’s MSTI to aid in the fight against colon cancer. Money raised from this year’s event will help St. Luke's MSTI fund colon cancer prevention and screening programs that will ultimately make a difference in the lives of many people within our community. Your help in this important cause is greatly appreciated.

We are also contributing a portion of the proceeds into an endowment fund in Brian's name at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) to help others attend Brian's alma mater. Supporting PLU was a great dream and vision of Brian's, and we believe it is the next great gift we can provide in his name.

During March, Colorectal Cancer Awareness month, St. Luke’s provided print and television ads with the message of early detection, paid for by Brian Olson funds.

About Brian Olson
Brian Olson was only 39 years old when he died of colorectal cancer. He was a long-time employee at Hewlett-Packard and very active in the community. Brian left behind a wife, two young sons, and countless people he touched in his all-too-short life. He continues to touch lives today, thanks to the friends who established the Brian Olson Memorial Golf Classic in his name.
